This song is a parody.  Nobody likes it if you criticize other people's music, but sometimes it's hard to resist having a laugh, with the intention of pointing out that a work of art used in the liturgy should above all be beautiful.  Good craftsmanship and originality don't hurt either.  So I wrote a song that is intentionally "the perfect liturgical song" in the sense of being, as one friend said, "perfectly awful!"  Feel free to criticize this song as much as you want, and if you decide to write a song for the liturgy, for heaven's sake avoid the excesses represented by this "composition"!
